HOPE

The Utah Down Syndrome Foundation's mission is providing hope to individuals, their families, and the community through support, education, activities, outreach, and advocacy.

Happy Giving Tuesday!

Today kicks off our end of year fundraising campaign. UDSF's 21K Magic Campaign was created to showcase how golden, 21 karat gold to be exact, the extra 21st chromosome is that occurs in Down syndrome. With your help, we can reach our goal of raising $21K before December 31st.

For every $21 donation, you will be entered to win "21" swag. 21 lucky donors will be chosen by an automated opportunity drawing system, to win the swag of your choice. Swag options include T-Shirts, Hoodies, and Baseball Hats.

Your donation, your support, will provide the services and opportunities UDSF is able to give to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and community. UDSF hosts New Parent Breakfasts, moms' nights, activities for all ages, events, dances, education and outreach opportunities, and much more, while advocating for individuals with Down syndrome. Donate "Tues" day or before December 31st to help us continue to share the magic that extra chromosome brings, 21K Magic!

Click here for more details and to make your contribution. Or click the "21 K Magic" donate button.

$21K is possible with your "extra" $21 donation.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Leave a message and one of our trained, new parent mentors will call you.

News, Educational Articles & Videos

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. This article points out all the lessons we can learn from individuals with Down syndrome.

Decades of research has proven that inclusive education substantially increases academic performance and the rate of employment for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Interestingly, research suggests the benefits of inclusion extend to typically developing classmates. The presence of a classmate with an intellectual disability fosters empathy, tolerance and patience. These virtues are fundamental to developing “emotional intelligence,” a concept revered by educators, parenting gurus and business leaders alike.

  • Improve your community by joining our cause. You'd be surprised at what a huge difference a little bit of your time can make.
