Club Teen 21

Club Teen 21 is for teens and young adults ages 12-21 with Down syndrome. Monthly activities will be held in the Salt Lake Valley. Activities and location will vary.  Caregivers are welcome to go or stay and visit with others in the Caregiver Lounge when permitted. Peer volunteers will be available to supervise and participate in the activities. Registration for each event is required with a small participation fee. Join our email list below to receive information for upcoming activities.

We are looking for parent leaders and peer volunteers to help plan, coordinate, and attend the activities. If you are interested or have questions about Club Teen 21 or the activities please email info@udsf.org or call 801-446-1994.

We are also looking to expand this program throughout the state so volunteer today to get one started in your area.

Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day with the Davis County Community Group, at the movies!
This event is free but seats are limited! If after registering you discover you will not be able to attend please contact us so we can open your seats to another family.

The Croods: A New Age, is a Dream Works production about the Croods, a prehistoric family searching for a safer habitat, who discover an idyllic, walled-in paradise. Unfortunately, they must learn to live with the Bettermans -- a family that's a couple of steps above the Croods on the evolutionary ladder.

The film has a run time of 1 hr. 35 min. and is rated PG. Common Sense Media states that the film is recommended for children 8 years and older due to content that has "heavy themes: the constant risk of death and worries about the end of the world." This review also mentions that the film "has a wonderful message of courage and celebration of adventure at its core, and there are strong, loving family relationships."

UDSF does not necessarily support the views or opinions portrayed in this film or by the Dream Works company.

COVID-19 Precautions:
1) Masks are to be worn by everyone over the age of 3 at all times.
2) In order to social distance, the total number of participants is 75.

Since seats are limited, if after registration you discover you will not be able to attend please contact Janet Alvarado at jalvaradout1966@gmail.com so your tickets can be opened to other families.
