The Utah Down Syndrome Foundation (UDSF) provides internships for students who would like to build their resume, develop their talents, learn new skills, and make a difference. Generally, UDSF's internships are three months long, about twelve hours per month, are unpaid, and have a start and end date. However, UDSF is flexible and can customize an internship that works for both the student and the foundation.
What to Expect: At the beginning of each internship, the intern will create a project management plan with UDSF's CEO. Once the project management plan is established, the intern will meet virtually as needed with the CEO to follow up on assigned tasks within the project management. The amount of time spent on the weekly tasks will vary but should not be more than two hours. The intern will keep track of his or her time. The majority of the internship can be done remotely, although some internships may require in-person tasks. At the conclusion of the internship and if the intern did a good job, UDSF's CEO will write of letter of recommendation for the intern.
Requirements: Fill out the application below and upload your resume. If you have any questions, please contact Jodi Lutkin at ceo@udsf.org.
