It's Giving Tuesday! Today kicks off our year end fundraising campaign.
Let the magic begin, 21K Magic!
Give "Tues" day and throughout the month of December to support UDSF. Your donation will allow UDSF to provide education opportunities, including our New Parent Breakfast presentations, financial and estate planning workshops, and webinars to name a few. Your financial contribution will provide activities that happen throughout the year, in several different counties, for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages and their families. Your support will continue the work of UDSF having outreach programs, welcoming new and expectant parents, and sharing with the world and our community how "magical" having an extra 21st chromosome is. Our latest Down Syndrome Awareness campaign with Camilynne Photography that was held in October is a prime example of the outreach work we are doing. Lastly, your change will make a change in the advocacy and inclusion work we are providing.
Our goal is to raise $21K by December 31st. Our 21K Magic Campaign was created to showcase how the number 21 really is golden, like solid gold, 21 Karat Magic. Donate $21 for Down syndrome and you will have a chance to win "21" swag! T-shirts. hoodies, and hats will be awarded to 21 lucky winners. With every $21 donation, your name will be entered in an opportunity drawing, and if chosen, you will win the swag of your choice.

Where Will My Donation Go?

* Funds UDSF's 30+ statewide community group outreach activities including our World Down Syndrome Day Celebrations, our Mighty Steps for Down Syndrome EXTRAvaganzas, and other quarterly activities.
* Supports parent educational programs such as UDSF's Down to Learn webinars and seminars and Parent Education Conferences.
* Hosts 3 Financial Workshops with a Chartered Special Needs Consultant, providing guidance for special needs estate planning.
* Provides support to new and expectant parents of a child with Down syndrome.
* Sponsors Quarterly (4) New Parent Breakfasts, Gifts New Parent Care Packages, and provides the New & Expectant Resource Guide to families.
*Has over a dozen new parent mentors trained and available to assist families with the Down syndrome diagnosis.
* Sends over 900 members with Down syndrome a card and treat on their birthday.
* Provides hospital meal reimbursement to families with long hospital stays.
* Makes Peer Presentation Tool Kits available to elementary school parents and teachers to educate peers/students about Down syndrome.
* Sponsors monthly activities for adults and teens with Down syndrome that promote connection and friendship.
* Provides medical providers and hospitals with our New & Expectant Parent Resource Guide.
* Creates an online community through our Facebook and Instagram.
* Supports community outreach through our monthly newsletter, The LowDown.
* Hosts monthly MNO (Moms Night Out) for caregivers to receive support and friendship.
* Works with other service providers to offer their expertise, services, and support, inviting them to take part in our community events.
